On Sunday we showed our thanks and respect to those that have given their lives in active service by attending the Remembrance Service on the Station. As part of our RE work we explore different places of worship and this week Year 2 visited the mosque. They focused on different symbols and artifacts to help develop their understanding of different faiths.

FS1 visited the garden centre today to learn about different plants and how to look after them. We bought some and then planted them in our garden. Now we just need to keep them alive!
Today all children came to school wearing red, white and blue clothing to help raise money for three different charities: The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, ABF The Soldiers Charity and finally the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity. We raised over 120 EUR. Well done to you all!
As part of their science work on food chains and habitats Y2 took a trip to a local beach to explore the marine wildlife! We explored the beach, the rock pools and even built the odd sandcastle or two!
In assembly today we gathered to be thankful for the wonderful food that we have as well as to learn about other people less fortunate than ourselves. We sung some lovely songs and Reverend Coles talked to us about the work that is carried out in the local community.
